You are eligible to apply for our scholarships!
Thanks to
community support of the Almaden Art and Wine Festival held last
September, the ALMADEN VALLEY WOMEN’S CLUB is again offering college
scholarships to Almaden Valley students. Scholarships will be awarded
on the basis of academic achievement and community service. Past
scholarships have been $1000-$2500.
APPLICATION DATES: February 18th to April 4th, 2008
CRITERIA FOR
APPLICATION: Students who meet the following requirements are
encouraged to apply:
- Male and
female high school students who live in the 95120-95118 zip codes, Almaden
Valley.
- Applicant
will be attending a College, University, Community College or Trade
School in the fall of 2007.
- Applicant
should have a history of school and community service, as well as a
minimum grade point average of 3.3.
APPLICATIONS: Applications are in your
school scholarship binder or on our web site at
almadenwomen.com/scholarships.htm.
To Apply:
- Download

forms and gather supporting documents (letters of recommendation,
transcripts, etc.)
- Return
application and supporting documents by April 4th, 2008,
