Treasurer – Jennifer Coelho
Jennifer
joined in 1999. She has served on the Glasses, Silent Auction and
Beverage committees. She has chaired Publicity and Scheduling,
co-chaired Beverages and was the 2005 Festival Treasurer.
She also has coordinated the Club’s Secret Sister Program and served on
the Scholarship and Funds Disbursement committees. Jennifer is a
graduate of the University of Southern California. She worked for
11 years as marketing and public relations professional. She and
her husband, Rob have a 3 ˝ year old son, Jared.
Parliament - Linda Bronson
An
active member since 1996, Linda has served as Festival Chair, Festival
Co-Chair, and Food Booth Chair. Her committee experience includes
Scholarship, Funds Disbursement, Glasses, Children’s Area, Equipment,
and Operations. Linda graduated cum laude from Siena Heights College in
Adrian, Michigan where she double majored in English and History, with
a minor in Philosophy. She has been married for over 30 years and
has two children, ages 27 and 23. Except for a three-year absence, the
Bronson’s have lived in Almaden Valley since 1979
VP Programs Kay Patel
Joined
in 2002 and has worked on the Silent Auction, Glasses and Artists for
the Festival and also chaired Secret Sisters. She has been
married to husband Tarun for 25 years and has 3 children; a daughter
attending Pharmaceutical school in Chicago, a son at Cal-Poly Pomona
and a 13 year old son at Castillero. She has been in the Almaden
Valley since 1988 and is employed by Sees’ Candy.
Secretary – Charlene Chavez
Joined
in 2001 and has served on the Glasses committee. In 2002 she was active
in the Festival and also the Scholarship Committee. For the next
three years she chaired Parking & Electricity for the Festival and
also in 2005 was Secretary for the Festival and helped with the grant
writing and historian duties. Charlene has 2 boys in the 8th
& 11 grades, teaches Phys Ed part-time at Williams
Elementary. She enjoys cooking, sewing, photography & running.
President - Cindy Griffeth
After successfully moving the festival to Almaden Lake Park two years ago, Cindy Griffeth returns to oversee the 40th year of the AVWC as President. Cindy joined the AVWC in 1998. She has served as 2nd
VP of Membership and chaired or co-chaired several festival committees
including Entertainment, Beverages, and Hospitality/Logo. Cindy is the
mother of two girls, ages 12 and 10 Cindy is employed at Graystone
Elementary school.
VP. Fundraising – Michelle Correa
Michelle
joined in 2002 and worked on the Silent Auction for the Festival.
In 2003 she chaired the Children’s Area and was part of the Fab 5 that
chaired the Festival. Year 2004 she chaired the Children’s Area
& Co-Chaired the Festival. Again in 2005 she Co-Chaired the
Festival and acted as City Liaison. This year Michelle is the
Festival Chair. “I am very excited to be Festival Chair for
2006. I have an incredible group of ladies and I know this year
we will continue to see even more patrons attend the Festival!”
Michelle
has 5 children and has been married almost 23 years. She is a
full time National Account Manager for Oakwood Worldwide.
